This article is looking into kingship coronation (Entrolment Of KINGS ) in the contemporary time, (21st century) by Afrcan's, Using Amune Autonomous Community as a case Study..Amune is a remote Community in the "Larger Ovim Autonomous Community" in Isukwuato L.G.A, known as', "The Land of Great People", in Abia State, North Senatorial Zone of Nigeria, West Africa. Africa is widely known, believes, or assumed to be populated by the "dark Skin people ' which empirically can be statistically proven. In some African communities Kingship is Hereditary in the past , while in many other Africans communities they are being Selected, Conferred mostly from the Royal tubinator lineage, while in some other scenarios like in the recent time, they are being 'selected by the people of the' said community, while following already layed dawn Standard of Qualification, before the selections and elections. Amune-Ovim Autonomous Community was part of the "Larger Imenyi Autonomous Community, when Imenyi Autonomous Community was granted a second chance to form another Autonomous Community Ovim not minding their human capital developments strength at that time and their population advantage, allowed their brother "Ezere" to create or form the next Autonomous Community, which is the second Autonomous Community in "Larger Imenyi Autonomous Community as of that time (In Imenyi Kingdom ).

And the third Opportunity arose for more Autonomous Community ' Ovim' grabs its, and after that came the need for more Autonomous Community in Ovim, which lead to the formation of Amune Autonomous Community and Other Autonomous Community in the (Ovim ancient Kingdom ) and now, the five Villages that made-up 'Ovim, has now become Autonomous Communitys', of their own respectively, 'Ohoroho' Autonomous Community ', 'Ohonja Autonomous Community ', 'Amune Autonomous Community, 'Obayi Autonomous Community', and 'Amake Autonomous Community'. In his address, during His Entrolment, HRH EZE

SURVEYOR CHIGBU IKWULAGU highlighted some of the Constituents of the people of Amune Kingdom " ( Brief 'history of Amune Autonomous Community) ". Therefore he stated, " Amune is a Village of three kindreds and nineteen Families, . And the " Throughout history each of these three kindreds have continued to receive and assimilates Strangers into their fold, Including warriors, Blacksmiths, Medicine-Men Slave Merchants, Refugees etc. As a result many family Structures were founded on both blood lineage and association's with one another, usually preceded in the case of the later, by the the parties subjecting themselves to an Irreversible bond of Oneness Demogulads known as *Erim* ".

In their speech 'Amune Development Union, "Amune-Ovim Autonomous Community is a peaceful community and God has been too faithful to us by giving tous peaceful leaders." And also , "This process was blessed from onset as we witness no rancor, no objection to the emergency of our new Eze (Traditional Ruler ).

EZE ( DR ) EZO UKANDU 'ENYI' 'NA- OBIANGWU OF IMENYI', was ONE, and the most Imenyi longest, and the most, influential Serving Traditional Ruler '(Mornach ) of our time in " Imenyi" Kingdom .In 1976 he was Selected unanimously by the people of Imenyi to be their Traditional Ruler. Thats earned him the title ‘’Enyi-na-Obiangwu" 1' of Imenyi kingdom. ". Bellow Update's about 'Enyi na 'Obiangwu 1' by Frank Ikoro (#FrankIkoro).

CULTURAL : So it's true. Yet it was difficult to believe when about a month ago I heard it from the grapevine that His Roal Majesty Eze; Sir; Dr. Ezo Ukandu Jp the head and status symbol of Isuikwuato land and dynasty, the very custodian of Isuikwuato culture and traditions have passed on thus joining his ancestors was quite a sad news to me and perhaps to the entire good people of Isuikwuato clan and Abia State in general.

To the best of my knowledge, His Royal Majesty Eze Ezo Ukandu selected, crowned and consummated nearly 60 years ago as the traditional ruler of Imenyi Ancient Kingdom until joining his ancestors was the oldest monarch in Isuikwuato land who brought and strenghtened regency to bear on the people.

Prior to his coming and ascension to the Imenyi throne, regency was virtually unknown here in Isuikwuato until in 1977 when the Ndubisi Kanu government of old Imo State recognized and granted him staff of office to operate and carry on as such.

In according him recognition alongside Eze Innocent Eloagu as Ekwueme of Isuamawu and Eze Benjamin Isiocha as Igweruaka of Oguduasaa being titles considered alien , inconsequential, controversial and out of tune with Isuikwuato context, it was Ukandu's historical Enyi n Obiangwu title that went down well with Imenyi people in particular and the entire Isuikwuato landscape in general

Reason being that Imenyi the eldest son in the Isuikwuato arrangement as represented by Ukandu having closer affinity with Awu the second son who begat Obiangwu than Oguduasaa the third in the series, believed to have come from a different mother, after counselling Eloagu to adopt Awu or Obiangwu as the natural and more befitting title for the Isuamawu stool and regency to no avail, added up Obiangwu to his title to ensure that the name Obiangwu continues to receive a pride of place in the Isuikwuato traditional setting.

Until their demise, the titles of Ekwueme as borne by Eloagu for Isuamawu and Igweruaka by Isiocha for Oguduasaa were considered unnatural and sheer imposition by these two communities which was why at their demise those who took after them refused to continue with the titles but rather preferred and reverted to the original but corresponding titles when Eze Chris Aboh in taking over from Eloagu realizing same, settled for Awu of Isuamawu instead of Ekwueme that had no bearing with Isuamawu as borne by his predecessor. The rest is both mistery and history I am reserving for another day.

Back to the matter, while Eze Ezo Ukandu lasted on the throne, his reign remarkedly brought peace, unity and progress not only to Imenyi but to Isuikwuato as a whole.

While Ndubisi Kanu as a soldier gave Isuikwuato political relevance, Eze Ezo Ukandu gave her cultural impetus to pride about on every side.

A handsome rich man with pleasant and intimidating personality whose palace is perhaps the most functional and sprawling palace in size and scope throughout the length and breadth of Igboland was everything Onye Eze should be on a throne.

His outings were usually marked by large entourage of his palace chiefs and members of the Eze in council with each appearing colorful enough to depict the cultural values of Isuikwuato in such a way that evokes pride into them as a people with very rich cultural heritage.

Unlike his mates elsewhere who do not seem to know how to handle nor toast kolanuts, Enyi n' Obiangwu does it all with clinical finesse communing with his ancestors as well as the gods of the land and gets results in the process.

Placing no curse on anyone while he lived, he enjoyed having with him the inborn dignity, royalty ,majesty and splendor that makes him truly the Enyi n' Obiangwu, Ozu Gburugburu, Ome Nke Ukwu Ori Nke Ukwu and OparaUkwu Isuikwuato as I had always addressed him each time he enters the arena with me behind the mic.

By his demise, (I didn't say death mind you) Imenyi, Isuikwuato, Abia State and Nigeria as a whole have lost a king of inestimable value.

The public should however note that in this write up, I have carefully avoided using the word death knowing full well as the cultural kingpin that I am, that Onyeze(Occupant) may die, not the stool hence Enyi n' Obiangwu lives On. Adieu Eze Sir Dr. Ezo Ukandu Jp. Ka Chukwu Okike Abiama nabata mkpuru obi- u nala Eze nkeya. Amen Lamaaaaaaaaa!!!!!.

Elegy to 'Enyi', na 'Obiangwu 1' of 'Imenyi'.

Eze Ezo Ukandu, a man of wisdom and grace, A king who held his people's hearts in embrace. With regency bestowed upon his noble head, He led Imenyi Ancient Kingdom with strength and stead.

For nearly six decades, he wore the crown, Guiding his people through ups and downs. A custodian of culture, traditions, and lore, He kept the flame of Isuikwuato burning evermore

In a land where regency was once unknown, He brought honor and respect to his throne. Recognized by the government, his reign was sealed, With a staff of office, his power revealed.

Enyi na Obiangwu, a title so dear, A symbol of unity, to the people it was clear. Imenyi, the eldest son, he represented with pride, Awu and Obiangwu, forever side by side.

Through his wisdom and counsel, he sought to unite, To preserve the heritage, to keep the flame alight. But alas, the heavens called him home, Leaving behind a legacy that will forever be.

His passing, a loss felt by all, In Isuikwuato, a mournful call. But let us remember the life he led, A king who walked with honor and tread.

Eze Ezo Ukandu, may your spirit soar high, Amongst the ancestors, in the sky. Your memory will forever be cherished, In the hearts of those who loved your days.

Rest in peace, O noble king, Your legacy, forever we'll sing. In the land of Isuikwuato, you'll forever remain, A symbol of strength, a monarch untamed.
